Let's
talk about "What's going on?". Dubai has a huge Filipino
community so this is where it begun. The Filipino Computer Club
offers computer courses under the auspices of the OWWA labour attache
for the less privileged Filipinos held at the Philippines Embassy. So
there I go, I enrolled myself in Writing HTML (BASIC). Isn't it a smart
move?
Hardly any of us would have had imagine how interesting the course was!
Honestly it wasn't that I've expected, I thought it was a piece of crap.
Tags...tags..tags... But along the way, it has captured my
imagination especially when the webpage started to make a difference.
The study is something indeed a rewarding and a wonderful experience for
me to remember. Now I did it! But this is just the beginning of the
journey in the web.
Thanks to today's sophisticated technology. It has brought the world to
one's fingertips to connecting people.
My
foremost gratitude is to Engr. Milo Torres, for sharing his time and
knowledge. A volunteer, a true devotee whose dedicaton in teaching us
the"(BASIC) WRITING HTML COURSE" has helped me along the way,
and to Mr. Rodrigo Valdez for his support and assistance during the term
of the study.
